Success and Failure
June 5, 2017
I would like to
welcome the new subscribers to this list and hope you find these
letters useful.
Additionally I
would like to apologize for being a little tardy on these letters.
My initial plan was to produce around 3 to 4 letters a month and as
you can see, I have not been successful in accomplishing this
self-imposed task.
Recently I did a
presentation at Satori, which was a lot of fun. The funny thing
about this is I did a similar presentation in May 2015. As you
probably know, the presentations are recorded and presented on
YouTube. For some reason the presentation from May 2015 was never
posted YouTube. Well as
it turned out about three days after the presentation in May 2017
the video from the May 2015 presentation was posted YouTube. To my
understanding during both times of these presentations, Mercury was
not retrograde. So anyway, we will have to see if the presentation
for 2017 shows up anytime soon.
While I am at it,
I would like to give kudos to the folks at Satori for their fine
work and their many presentations they have done over the years. So
next time when it come to that particular Friday when they’re going
to be doing presentations drop on by Fort Worth. They have a new
location and just a lot of fun. Support them if you can.
As many of you
already know, the work herein consists of Love Understanding
Compassion and Honesty, Honor, and Humility. In all matters, the
means justifies the ends. As you can see when we set a condition,
whereby our attitude determines everything we bring forward by the
very initialization we are responsible up to the point in time of
our knowledge regarding such actions we choose to bring forward.
There is an
interesting keyword and/or phrase here.
It has to do with being responsible for we understand at a
particular time. As I
stated before in previous work, “Failure can only exist if there is
reasonable chance of success”. While often times we will attempt to
claim we are responsible for something, while we had no way of
knowing the outcome of such action, yet we claim that somehow we
should have known better.
So let us take a
couple of simple examples that might assist in gaining a better
understanding of this self-imposed burden. In examining success and
failure, let us consider a five-year-old who is given an algebra
test. Now mind you this particular five-year-old is not a Savant,
just an ordinary kid. Therefore, when presented with the test paper,
they are likely to look for crayons and other items to draw happy
faces within all the numbers and squiggly lines they will see on the
paper.
As you can see,
there is no possibility that this kid will be able to succeed in
completing the test as desired.
Since there is no chance of success, there is no failure.
Now let us take a
moment and examine why the Intellect is in love with the word
“Should”, and not forgetting the magic word of “Guilt”. When we
examine the Intellect, we find a couple of interesting things.
While all things
ride upon the essence and love of God whereas without this essence
and/or quality no thing would exist except for only God. However,
when the word was given all things including Time, Space Matter and
Light came into their existence by nature of this action. However,
when you examine all things brought forward in such a manner you
will find since they are subject to manipulation and change, where
because of such change, perfection does not exist within these
things brought forward. Therefore,
the Firmament is the only expression of such perfection existing in
all things, places and worlds whereas without such would not exist.
While the
Firmament being by its nature is perfect and therefore all things
ride upon this perfection, no thing being possible outside of this,
then it is safe to say it is impossible to be outside the Firmament
and/or the body of God.
Remember, though,
this Firmament is neutral allowing all forms to express themselves
according to their nature.
Getting back to
the Intellect and its’ love with “should”, examining the problem
associated with not having access to perfection opens the doorway
for many misunderstandings. I have talked about the equation
representing the process of assumption. Many of you already know
this but the equation is X + Y = 4. As you see, there is no
solution. The reason for this is the Intellect is burdened with the
lack of perfection which arises errors omissions and of course many
challenges.
It is been stated
the Intellect’s primary responsibility is to protect the body at all
cost. Upon sentience the intellect was formed, and an initialization
of two basic programs. The first one has to do with anything unknown
is dangerous, and the second one has to do with the desire to
protect the body all cost. However, upon finding, the five senses do
not work very well and discovering perfection does not exist within
the five senses, and anything else for that matter, the Intellect
has a problem. The only option for it to do is compare things from
one to another in an attempt to find the constant of perfection,
which is impossible for anything formed.
As a result of
being without perfection and its primary duty is to protect the body
at all cost whereas the only tool available which is a process of
assumption, brings about a high degree of insecurity in all
determination brought about by the intellect. As a result, this
desire to bring about this protection for the body will cause the
intellect to developed a process of control whereas an attempt is
made to control all things around the body utilizing any method
possible including the process of should and/or judgment. Remember,
since initial determination of the assumption is always incorrect
because it is an unsolvable equation, then every “judgment”, which
is based upon the assumption process, is wrong. Furthermore every
“should” which is based upon the “judgment” is also wrong. Let us
take this a step further. Every determination of “guilt” by the
process of “should” is also wrong because for “guilt” to be valid
with an individual must be prosecuted for a crime and proven guilty
in a court of law, and my friends stupidity is not a crime.
Therefore, we are likely to make that more than familiar statement
“I’m so guilty for being so stupid I should’ve known that person was
a dodo head”.
As you can see,
the statement is without merit. So let us revise the statement. “If
I’d known that person was a dodo head I would have avoided them like
the plague”. Now we are being honest.
While all this is
very fresh in your mind, I would also like to bring to your
attention a very important point regarding our responsibility for
things we do. We can only be held responsible for what we understand
a particular point in time. While we may not get it right then, as
least we will not be piling all forms of judgment upon ourselves
without any sort of merit associated to such action.
After all, if we
had all the answers there will be no challenges. Part of the purpose
here is to recognize the challenges as they approach us and choose
how we wish to act or react to them, finding the many cases quite
beneficial not to participate at all.
Let us consider
the upcoming weekend, you become aware that there could be some
problems with some old flame in your life and you know that this
person is likely to be at a particular party. You have two choices
here. You can go to the party and you will have to deal with the
problems at hand or, if you go somewhere else and enjoy the evening.
Everything we are
presented with gives us the opportunity to participate or not.
The path of
self-mastery is learning to recognize when it is auspicious to
engage and/or participate and when it is not.
In the bonds of
the work I am,
Charles
