A copy of the program for your package is maintained. If you decide to order another radio, it will be pre-matched to radios in your organization.

In most offices, FRS frequencies limiting output power to 1-2 watts will suffice. Since these radios can operate on FRS, GMRS, MURS, Ham Radio, and other frequencies they are extremely versatile.

Transmitting on FRS 1-2 watts for your office does not require a license. If you choose to operate on the GMRS frequencies which have a 50 watt limit, which is really not necessary, a $50.00 FCC license will be required for the whole office.

Most offices require six to ten radios. If you have four active users, it is a good idea to have a couple of radio sets as standbys. A typical example, would be a radio not put in the charger correctly at the end of the work day. Or, someone has damaged the radio, (very hard to do).
