I See You
Dec 11, 2003
Hello everybody,
Dictating this short note to you, in my thoughts, I see you all in front
of me as if we were doing a class. Some may ask how this is possible
though I have not seen many of you in quite some time.
We must acknowledge how profoundly complicated the memory
can be. Consider the ability of the mind to maintain a memory of an
event which occurred at a very early age, yet hide from us the very
nature the aforementioned event. Because of the nature of the
particular event, we find we may have some sort of unusual or
unexplained resistance to certain events or stimuli. We still may
not understand why we may decide to act one way or another given
certain circumstances.
Consider if you will, the story where a very young person
wanted the attention of one their parents. If the parent was too
busy at that particular time when the child needed attention it
stands to reason that the child being unable to comprehend most
thinking processes beyond those of black-and-white would only have
two choices available to them. Depending on how the parent responded
to the child, explaining they were very busy could have devastating
consequences. For example, if the explanation was with compassion
and is of the best possible approach the child is most likely to
deduce all is OK and they are not being rejected.
However, if the approach by the parent was contrary to the
previous example it is very possible that the child will assume a
form of rejection.
Going further, let us say that we are the five-year-old. Our
ability to understand things is really only black-and-white. Now if
we try to get attention from someone such as a parent, and they
reject us or at least this is what the child believe is the case;
how is the child going a feel? We would also have to conclude that
being the five-year-old and being rejected would likely generate
anger, hurt and or isolation.
Within ourselves, we have two primary expressions, one being
the male, and the other being the female. When both of these
attributes are in balance, we are able to exercise the nature of
each attribute fully. Consider this is a natural condition of
humanity. This natural process we have within each of us allows us
to know all possible conditions around us.
Briefly, the male attribute consists of money, power,
provisioning, credibility, reputation, strength, and health. The
female attribute consists of family, children, love, nurturing,
long-term relationships, and indirect force.
I would be remiss if I did not remind you
the attributes are not gender
specific, meaning that a female can have the same attributes as the
male and vice versa. The ideal condition would be where both the
male and female carried all the attributes of each other in balance.
Returning to the subject of the child, if a father figure did the
rejection, and the child determined that they were rejected, the
child may develop an anger associated with all things known at the
time of the rejection.
As stated earlier within ourselves, consist of both the male
and female attributes. In addition, we must consider that in order
to survive with must find no-fault within ourselves. For instance,
if we are angry with a father figure it stands to reason the father
figure is responsible for what we realize via our anger. This is
true regardless of whether the father figure was responsible of the
cause of our anger or not.
Within our natural state, we find within ourselves both of
male and female attributes as all is in harmony. We also must make a
statement here where all things are part of ourselves and nothing is
separate for all realization occurs within. Therefore, all good and
bad male attributes and all good and bad female attributes are
within ourselves.
Returning to the issue of rejection, if it is true all
things are part of ourselves and nothing is separate, then is not a
rejection, a rejection of ourselves by ourselves in one form or
another.
If we start thinking in such a matter, with our current
stage of evolutionary development, internal devastation would occur.
So, what is a feeble mind to do? In order to survive the mind would
have to separate itself from its true self. In order to accomplish
the task of self-survival the mind will take all things which are
associated with a father attribute and, isolate them, at least in
the mind’s reality of itself.
At this point all things related to the father attribute are
now removed from the reality of the mind. Doing so places as a hole
in one's reality, where there was once the balances of male and
female attributes there is now a hole existing were the father
attribute is missing. So now, the reality of the individual is this.
Father is not a part of me so make it so. With that means, is
everything the father attribute represents, health, money, power,
success, are not permitted. The reason is as because our reality,
our law prohibits this because we believe the father attribute is
separate and/or dangerous.
When these conditions exist in our lives, we have a natural
propensity to reject things related to the father or mother
attribute. This is not a fault within. For we never really had the
tools to make, the necessary adjustments to reestablish the father
or mother attribute within ourselves.
The intellect is so well defined and well protected within its complexity, guarantees the separateness we experience when we have issues with the father or mother attributes. To work around this defined separateness, one must work a process of light. Below you will find a link to an exercise to be done an average of three times a day averaging five to fifteen seconds each. This process will reestablish both the male and female attributes within you.
Peace,
Charles
